These gentle tales come from the heart and home of Elissa Szantyr, the author and a devoted mother of five, brings years of homeschooling experience and a deep understanding of child development to each tale. With a heart for storytelling and a love of foundational learning, Elissa’s stories aim to teach little lessons with a whole lot of heart.
Lee Collier, the illustrator, filmmaker, and animator behind Penelope’s charming world, brings the stories to life with a soft, naive watercolor style reminiscent of classic children’s books. Lee lives just down the road and has a background in film and screen media.
Together they aim to create stories that feel calm and classic, carefully designed to support early childhood learning while keeping things light, fun, and full of imagination.
